Drag to rotate the view; scroll or pinch to zoom. Click a placed item to select it and drag to move it (on phones, select it first, then drag). Ceiling and pendant lights attach to the ceiling and move across it. Orange marks are outlets and ceiling sockets in typical positions; drag them to match your home. The dotted line from the selected item is the power cord route (green: reaches, orange: barely, red: too short). Keyboard: R rotates 90°, Delete removes, arrow keys move 1 cm (10 cm with Shift). Within 6 cm of a wall, items snap to the manufacturer’s required clearance.

Placed items and checks

How the checks work

Installation clearance: whether the manufacturer’s required left, right, back and top clearance (install_clearance_mm) is free between the item and walls or other items.
Front space: rules of thumb are the door width for fridges, the door for front-loading washers, 75 cm to pull out a chair at a desk, 50 cm of legroom for sofas and 50 cm beside a bed.
Walkway: whether a 60 cm-wide path leads from the entrance to the front of the item (approximated on a 5 cm grid).
Entrance: checks whether the item as delivered (the box, the largest part, or the unit itself) passes the entrance door's width and height. Furniture may be tilted; fridges and washing machines stay upright and use the maker's route guideline. Check hallway turns and elevators with the Delivery route check on the product page.
