An 8-tatami studio with kitchenette, for living with a cat

A one-person 8-tatami studio with a kitchenette, a sofa, a bed, and a cat tower and litter box for the cat. The cat's things stay out, but the tower and the litter box are in the same beige, ivory and wood colors as the sofa and floor, so they look like part of the furniture.

• The cat tower stands against the wall beside the sofa. It is close to the window, so the cat can see outside from the top level.
• The litter box is in the corner by the window. It is ivory with a hood, and it blends with the beige of the curtains.
• The bed is a low slatted bed against the right wall. More of the floor shows, so the 8 tatami looks open and uncluttered.
• In front of the sofa is a white washable shaggy rug. It can be washed when cat hair gets on it, and a beige pet bed sits on it without standing out.
• At night, the wood-grain ceiling light and the floor lamp with a white fabric shade softly light the window side.
